Christmas 2019

PCChoir had a great musical Christmas, in spite of so many laid low with bad throats.

We joined other local choirs at the Light Switch On at Portchester shops singing "In Exelcis Deo", a lively upbeat gospel song, and "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" (Introduction by Dot in a West Country accent!).

Thirty three of us enjoyed an amazing 3 course meal at the Wicor Mill pub. (They're now our official choir pub!). There was a lovely friendly atmosphere and we all got served the meal we had chosen - which I think was rather impressive at such a busy time.

We did a carol sing around Portchester, singing at Margaret's and Hazel's and finishing up at .....the Wicor Mill Pub again! Amazingly the weather gave us a rain-free hour, for which we were very grateful. We raised lots of money

for our chosen charities.
