Flashmob in the Precinct

Updated: Jan 10, 2020

PCChoir made their third visit to Portchester Library last Saturday where we sang a variety of songs from around the world.

The music then spread to the Precinct. Everyone tried to look like they were shopping or chatting nonchalantly (though the music folders under the arms were a bit of a give-away!).

As the Choir gradually joined in with "Don't Worry Be Happy", people realized that something unusual was happening and stopped to listen.

It was such a feel-good song on a summery Saturday. There were many positive comments from passers-by telling us that we had "made their day", even asking for more songs.

We must do it again some time.
