A Not-So-Silent Library!

Updated: Jan 10

PCC has been getting Portchester singing this week!

We were at the Library on Saturday singing a few folk songs and finishing with our versions of "Mama Mia" and "Make Your Own Kind of Music". Pompey supporters in the vicinity may have disapproved of the fact that our medley included "Oh When the Saints" - but maybe we will make up for it by singing Pompey Chimes next time! Thank you to the small enthusiastic audience; they were a great encouragement, especially for those performing for the first time.

This afternoon some of us led the PIPS group at the Hub in a sing song. They joined in all the songs, not even being daunted by a very speedy version of "Supercalifragelistic!" It's impressive that some of them are in their 80's and 90's and are still willing to have a go at singing, doing actions and playing percussion (even all at the same time!)

Looking forward to our next gig at Royal Victoria Country Park.
