Merry start to the festive season for PCChoir!

We enjoyed being part of Portchester‘s Christmas lights celebration on Friday 1st December. The singing of the school children was a hard act to follow, but we braved the wobbly steps and the bouncy stage and sang “The Angel Gabriel” and “Santa Clause is coming to Town”. Laurie did a great intro with an American accent. But I think he’ll be relieved to know that he won’t have to do it again!

Another community event on Sunday made it a busy weekend. We were asked to sing at Portchester Community Centre’s Christmas Family Funday. We were on after the clown/magician, which meant there was already a crowd. We sang a couple of our songs and followed them with carols that everyone could join in with.
